Luxury Yachts Charter- Sailing The Blue Sea of Capri

'Capri, Capri con il tuo mare incantevole, limpido e bello da muori' (Capri, Capri with your enchanting clear sea, a sight worth dying for indeed) Yes, the vistas and sounds of Capri, Italy will inspire poetry in anybody! I wrote this piece one fine summers day when cruising on a luxury yachts charter around the island of Capri. We'd spent two weeks sailing about the Mediterranean ( Sardinia, Sicily, Lampedusa and Capri) and boy oh boy was it an experience of a life time.

A luxury yachts charter provides one the opportunity to see life and a part of the world from a complete unique perspective. Away from the vacationers and tourists attractions, away from all the bustle of the cities, away from everything you can be alone with your thoughts and feelings and truly absorb what nature provides. The advantage of luxury yachts charter is that you can always dock at the port and rejoin the mad crowds to do a bit of shopping, eat the delicious foods, visit attractions then get back to the tranquillity of the sea.

Besides could there be something more beautiful than the Mediterranean sea lulling you to sleep? For those who are thinking of going on a luxury yachts charter about the island of Capri, here's a few attractions which you shouldn't miss.

Blue Grotto (Grotto Azzuro)
This gorgeous grotto is a renowned tourist attraction as once within the grotto you'll witness the most amazing surreal, blue cave. The cave is angelic and blue because of the reflection off the blue waters. It truly is an awesome sight to see.

La Piazzetta
La Piazzetta is a little piazza where you will experience Italian social life at its best. This is the social heart of the island lies. It is possible to make a choice between the several bars and restaurants to experience a wonderful dinner and drinks. This is also where you will find the funicular, and from where you will see views of Monte Solaro.

The Faraglioni Rocks This view will be best seen from your luxury yacht as it give you the opportunity to get up close and personal so to speak. The Faraglioni are three huge rock protrusions rising from the Mediterranean sea, with a natural tunnel in through one of the rocks, making it possible to enter it by smaller boat.

Castiglione and Barbarossa castles

If castles and ruins are just your sort of thing then you should make your way to this ancient castle called Castiglione in addition to Barbarossa castle which is situated in Anacapri. Castiglione goes back to the 1400's and is a well known tourist spot. Barbarossa is in ruins however the ruins still has the two towers , a church and a fortress wall. Barbarossa means red beard named so after a Turkish Pirate.

There are many more sights and sounds on the island of Capri, so find out about ways to help make your dream about yachting on the Mediterranean a reality.
